Tree Kangaroo Creative (TKC for short) is a multimedia design studio based in Providence, RI. It was founded by Serena Andrews, a local self-taught designer and musician.

We serve local and national markets, providing our 3 core services: web and digital design, custom audio, and custom illustration. So it made perfect sense to us for each service to have its own division and website. You can always get back to our main site, or another division with our handy "umbrella" menu in the upper right hand corner of each site.

Speaking of umbrellas, TKC acts as an umbrella to Serena’s professional blog, and her jazz duo, Sweet78. It is also the parent company to an in-development networking group called Providence Idea Exchange.

TKC's web design division is nicknamed Design Good Times.

We design brochure websites, custom blog templates, flash pieces, banner ads and small-scale ecommerce websites...usually driven by a 3rd party shopping cart such as PayPal. A website can include other services we offer such as logo or brand development, illustration, custom music and video work.

TKC's music division specializes in creating awesome custom songs to fit your needs in nearly any style, length or instrumentation. We have done wedding songs, birthday gifts, holiday tunes, commercial music and background music for many happy customers.

We use fantastic local talent, and the latest in editing software, microphones, soft synths, soundbanks. We have male and female vocalists, who can also do voice over for radio ads, training videos and media presentations.

Custom Songs Online specializes in short one to two minute pop songs, and loops. However, we are happy to create an estimate for other large-scale projects such as motion picture soundtrack and scoring pieces.

All our music is original and royalty free. We make sure to obtain proper licenses for any loops or source sounds we incorporate.

The imagination is a wonderful thing.

That's why TKC has its very own illustration service called DreamIt! We want to help you realize all the amazing ideas you have kicking around in your head. TKC can bring to life the imagery that so perfectly describes your product, service, event or written material!

DreamIt! Illustration offers hand drawn and digital illustrations for any purpose. From spokescharacters to portraits to book illustrations, we will work with you to render your vision!

TKC realizes the importance of supporting one's local community in these hard economic times. We are making every attempt to support locally owned small businesses and to keep RI business thriving in our small way. We aim to work with local print shops, outsource only to qualified local professionals on large scale projects, and to have our business lunches at local restaurants. Why? We are excited that our digital design naturally makes less paper waste than print design. But what about energy use, computer waste, batteries, and all that business paperwork! This year, TKC has taken a pledge to research and develop green strategies that will replace our standard systems of operation by the end of 2009. We'll be looking into everything from paperless billing to solar powered office equipment, to pairing up with vendors and businesses who are also lean and green! Community Service & Fundraising

TKC plans to do some annual fundraising, and to get involved with the local community as best we can throughout the year!

In 2008, we launched a poster show called "USA | RI | PVD | LOC" featuring digital designs about local residents. We aimed to raise funds with this show for arts programming in local schools. We hope to re-mount the show again in 2009 to up the ante! Please contact Serena if you have a gallery suggestion.

TKC's, designer, Serena Andrews has studied the Spanish language for over eight years, and is excited to begin serving the Spanish-speaking community in Providence, RI. Because this is a new goal for her, the first few Spanish-English projects may be a bit experimental.

If you are a local Spanish speaker, and would like to hire Serena for design, music or illustration services, please get in touch with her directly before requesting a quote. During 2009 only, there will be a special rate for Bi-lingual work!
