Sweet78: the Speakeasy @ Local121

Come join us at Local 121 on Friday, August 21st for an evening of lovely jazz music and dinner or cocktails. We’ll be performing in 121’s Speakeasy which is a gorgeous and cozy space downstairs from the main Dining Room.

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Local 121, I have to say it is a treat. This restaurant used to be part of the original Dreyfus Hotel which has now been repurposed by AS220. The bar was called the Mirror Bar, back in the 1930s. Today it has been restored beautifully. And the restaurant is amazing! Dave Johnson is the chef, and the delicious gourmet menu is fresh from local farms and vendors.

As for the music, we will be delighted to serenade you with songs from the 20s-50s, from 9pm until 11:30pm. The cost is just $10 - small change for a trip back in time!
